YEEESSS!!!! To this article and to saying no hahaha.

After layoffs, I decided to go back to what I know ... accounting ... law firm accounting of all things. 2 months in, I was like I can't do this. Boss told me to say cuz I was good. I said no. So I quit. Nothing lined up. Went to Japan. Came back and one of my buddies was like, "You should start writing, you have it in ya" So I did and now here I am. I'm as motivated as ever and continuing to grow and find my own path. It's been amazing.

Great article, dear Khadejah!

Dare to say NO, accept to hear NO, NO, NO...

After that, you will finally start listening to YES, YES, YES...!

When you say that first big NO, you have opened yourself up to see what is POSSIBLE for you!

Interesting angle here. I love it! You have to build a thick skin for rejection when you are doing something you are passionate about. Everybody won't click with you or get your vision. That's okay. Whoever and whatever is for you, won't miss you. But you have to stay in the race. This was encouraging. Thanks for sharing.
