I didn't give up Medium. I started there and appreciate it for extending my reach from two to four interested readers.

It's so nice that people are still finding you from medium! When you write from the heart that is really the thing that makes it all worth it. I have found writing on substack to be very focused on likes and growing, but actually the thing that makes me feel the best is when I get texts and emails from friends and friends of friends etc who are not on substack who say they love my newsletter or that a post I wrote helped them in some way.

Just like you, but I began my journey in Substack. No matter how I feel, I wouldn't express anything to the world, but as an introvert, writing gave me comfort and a voice to say, "I'm here." But, when I read articles about AI, it really took the breath out of me. But after reading this post, it gave me hope. Thanks for sharing it!
